How do I calibrate an Acu-Rite Wireless Indoor / outdoor thermometer and an accurate thermometer Springfield Temp?
I an incubator project, and I have two thermometers as a check between them. But they are like 4 + degrees from one another! They are both digital and have no visible sensors, so I do not know how to calibrate. Right now I quenching in the snow, and I am waiting for it reaches 32 degrees. Is this true? Thank you!
The water will freeze and the water begins to boil at a different temperature. with altitude. So I assume a non-liquid thermometer would be best. The way is to get things to standard temperature. and pressure. PTS. Only a metal thermometer will work. This thermometer has a PTS. Snow is never 32 degrees, because it is a triple point where the water is neither solid, liquid or vapor. This is something very strange on the water. So many factors must be taken into account, you can not really the right temperature. over a long period time.
