Has anyone tried cooking a goose? How does it taste compared to a fried turkey?
We had a plate of turkey for Thanksgiving deep and it was wonderful! Thinking a different variation for Christmas, so if anyone has a fried goose, please let me know how it happened. Thank you.
Too much fat under the skin of a goose fry well. Part of the reason for frying a turkey is to keep it moist and a goose (or duck for that matter) do not suffer from this problem if it is cooked properly.
