What hamster bedding are really good?
This is really a good bedding for my teddy bear hamster pregnant hamster. I need all the answers that I can do Thanks!
After Animal Care and hamsters high for years * * I tried a lot of litter. I know some people swear by the commands of treated paper, but I think it makes a mess and it is very difficult to clean. DO NOT ever use cedar, it is proven to cause respiratory problems and liver. Pine is believed to cause the same problems perhaps to a lesser extent. I found Aspen to be really good, long time ago I had the aspen was shaved differently and hamsters loved for nesting and tunneling. Unfortunately I could not find for years, and aspen I get today is shaved in a style similar to pine, but its safe and not the aromatic oils that cause liver problems such as cedar and pine. Finally as someone else said, do not use newspaper and tired of everything that contains recycled newsprint, ink they use for many newspapers are toxic and can cause health problems that you do not want to be treated.
