some dogs are allergic to cat litter?
I have a 1 1 / 2 year old beagle mix chiuaua who walked in the litter cat I put on my way by car because of ice and snow. Now she is limping around and their pads are wet. I wonder if the Littler Kitty burned the pads of his feet ... any suggestions would be helpful.
I would say that the ice has burned his feet. Not all dogs take to the Snow and others. You may not like the sound of it, but to get your dog to go to the bathroom in a cold climate like yours that you might to resort to using newspapers on the porch inside. Take it as soon as your dog has finished praying and the winter is short. Write this from tropical Australia where it is more than 95 degree Celsius or 33 degrees and we have very wet weather in regions tropical, so it's a bit surreal to talk to someone on the snow. It is mid - summer here. We still have our Christmas and New Year summer. Dry your dog's paws. See if they are red and swollen. If they take him to the vet if you can get out. Except to see if you have burns cream. Apply only the smallest amount. Be very careful that dogs are allergic to so many things human. It will try to lick their feet better. This is natural.
