Make your cats, as some types of music, and dislike other kinds?
I found that our two cats actually seem into certain songs, and music. Other things they dislike. And of course, they often seem indifferent to that the music we play. A few years ago, I noticed they really seemed to enjoy the dream, trance-like sounds of Tangerine Dream. I do not remember the name of the album but it was one of the 70s. They also seem to dig a little classical music too. Harsh, percussion music too run to. Does your cat like certain types of music?
It is said that some music such as classical (Beethoven, Bach) with violins can be Soothing animals ... course not at high volume ... it could damage their ears.
